Alan Montgomery

Alan Montgomery is the firm’s Vice President - Recruiting. He is recognized as a global subject-matter expert in the logistics, fulfillment and transportation businesses.

Mr. Montgomery previously was Vice President with Cap Gemini Ernst & Young (formerly Ernst & Young Consulting), based in Vienna, Virginia serving as the Global Leader of Logistics & Fulfillment Consulting within the Supply Chain Service Line. His responsibilities included leading and providing quality advisement for major CGEY sales initiatives and engagements, developing innovative business solutions, and leading the Logistics & Fulfillment Practice team.

Prior to joining Ernst & Young in 1991, Mr. Montgomery had a 20-year track record of rapid professional growth in Fortune 500 transportation companies. He has served as vice president of marketing for Chemical Leaman Tank Lines, Inc., a specialized truckload motor carrier. Before that he held senior positions in strategic planning, marketing and finance with Consolidated Rail Corporation, as well as other positions in the railroad industry. He started his logistics career as a U.S. Army logistics officer, serving both in Berlin, Germany and the Republic of Vietnam.

He holds an M.B.A. in Transportation (with concentration in Marketing) from Wharton Graduate School of Business, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia and a B.A. in Economics from Washington & Jefferson College, Washington, Pennsylvania.

John Swope

John Swope is an Executive Recruiter with Navesink. He brings exceptional value matching career opportunities with exceptionally talented people. John M. Thompson

John M. Thompson is an Executive Recruiter with Navesink. Prior to joining Navesink he spent his career in the field of Supply Chain Management. He possesses an extensive industry background in the areas of Supply Chain Management, ERP implementation, strategic cost management, performance measurement and business process improvement. He gained his experience through thirteen years in progressively responsible industry positions, including the roles of Vice President of Supply Chain Management for a $1B international entity and Director of Continuous Improvement for an international manufacturing and service organization. His fourteen years of management consulting experience includes client service work for a multitude of clients across industries as a consulting executive with both Ernst & Young, LLP and PAR Solutions, LLC.

He has conducted numerous projects to improve inventory, service and costs for his clients and employers in both the USA and abroad. His international experience includes work in: the UK, France, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, China, Canada and Mexico. As a practitioner John has directed Supply Chain Management processes across manufacturing industries and environments, in particular the medical device & equipment industry. John received a BA with High Distinction from Boston College and an MBA from Babson College with a concentration in Production & Operations Management. He is a member of the Association for Manufacturing Excellence, the Institute of Supply Management and the American Production and Inventory Control Society. He is certified CPIM. He has been quoted in Fortune Magazine, Executive Leadership and the Institute of Supply Management monthly periodical (formerly NAPM Insights).

Bob Camozzo

Bob Camozzo is an Executive Recruiter with Navesink. Bob has over 20 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management and RFID software and services as a business owner, consultant and senior level executive.

Mr. Camozzo previously was Senior Vice President of Global Logistics Technologies (GLog) and Managing Director of GLog’s Asia/Pac and Latin American business sectors. He also served in similar senior level management positions with Savi Technologies, Descartes Systems Group, Roadshow International and PartsRiver. His responsibilities included sales and marketing, leading sales and presales teams and partner organizations in software sales internationally as well as in the United States.

He is also founder and CEO of IntelLogistics, a software company providing web-based solutions for supply chain optimization and modeling.

Prior to his career in software, Mr. Camozzo served as Director, Quantitative Management Services, at Arthur Young & Company (predecessor of Capgemini/Ernst & Young) directing consulting engagements in transportation, supply chain optimization, routing and scheduling, economics and statistical analysis and operations research.

He holds an M.S. in Operations Research from Virginia Tech and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering also from Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, VA. He has spoken frequently on the subject of Logistics, RFID, Transportation Management Systems and Supply Chain Risk Management at conferences worldwide and was former president of the Baltimore/Washington chapter of the Council of Logistics Management (currently Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals).

Charles W. Clowdis

Charles W. (Chuck) Clowdis, Jr. is an Executive Recruiter with Navesinkspecializing in transportation
