Job Description
Demonstrate how technology of any proposed solution adds substantial value by enabling business process change.
Respond to all technical questions regarding the installation and implementation of new software.
· Create and adapt presentations to address prospect’s specific business needs and highlight technical advantages of JDA solutions. · Provide expert source of information and strategic insight on industry trends and best practices of technology. · Provide technical expertise in support of all sales cycle activities (trade shows, focus groups, discovery, qualification, RFI and RFP responses, solution demonstrations, conference room pilot and on-going Q&A) · Assist in maintaining product demonstration environments and configuring demonstration data and scenarios as required in sales cycles. · Establish relationship with the primary IT decision maker to facilitate future business development · Identify prospective clients' technical environment needs married to business solution offering. · Articulate and demonstrate to prospects the value proposition of JDA across multiple business processes/solutions. · Provide information and strategic insight to clients and prospects on designated solutions within the JDA Portfolio, including current and future direction. · Maintain understanding of JDA solutions and competitive offering's in the market.
Required Experience · Minimum 2 years experience in a pre-sales role, presenting technical solutions to CEO/CFO/CIO and at a technical level for Supply Chain Management, ERP or similar experience within a major software company. · Minimum 2 years of technical consulting experience performing implementation services. · Experience with relational database technology preferably Oracle, workflow/integration tools and J2EE application server technology either BEA WebLogic or IBM WebSphere. · Superior communication, presentation and demonstration skills. · Strong creative and analytical skills. · Proven ability to work in multi-functional teams, networking effectively with others. · Demonstrable leadership skills and ability to rapidly establish credibility in any client or prospective client engagement.
