  14. My resume was posted with my name, phone number and address visible and I would like make it confidential. Can this be done?


  1. What do I need to know about posting my resume in a confidential format?
  2. Resumes displayed in confidential format will not show name, address or phone number. To further safeguard your confidentiality, we highly recommend that on your resume your current employer be referred to as "confidential" rather than by actual name. Persons presenting a resume in confidential format may be contacted by email by interested employers or recruiters.

  4. LogJobs.com safeguards the identity of job seekers who post resumes to this site. Only registered users of LogJobs.com have access to resumes with contact information.

  5. What if I forgot my Password?
  6. Under Job Seeker Login, Click "Forgot Password?" enter your email address and your password will be sent to your email address.

  7. What if my category isn't listed?
  8. Try selecting a category closest to yours. Then email us and we will consider adding it as a category.

  9. How will I know my resume is listed in the database?
  10. After you post your resume, you can view it as it appears in the database.

  11. Can I view my resume as employers will see it?
  12. Once you submit your resume either with LogJobs.com's resume builder or your pasted resume, it will be displayed exactly as employers will see it. Pasted resumes sometimes lose their symmetry depending on original format or resume "bullets" may be preceded by question marks or other symbols. We encourage you to edit the formatting of your resume if this is necessary.

  13. How do I create an online resume?
  14. Click Post a Resume and check "I would like to build my resume online using the LogJobs resume builder", click submit. The next screen is LogJobs' online resume builder which is self-explanatory.

  15. How do I edit or update my resume?
  16. Click Post a Resume enter your email address and password, click Submit, your resume will appear on the next screen. Edit or update your resume here then click "Submit" at the bottom of the screen. Your edited resume is displayed for your review. You may edit your resume as often as you like.

  17. Who has access to my resume?
  18. Only employers registered with LogJobs.com can access your resume with contact information. To further safeguard your confidentiality, we highly recommend that on your resume your current employer be referred to as "confidential" rather than by actual name.

  19. How do I remove my resume from the LogJobs.com database?
  20. Click Post a Resume enter your email address and password, click Submit, on the next screen click "Delete my Resume".

  21. Can I paste my existing resume instead of inputting the information in the designated fields?
  22. Click Post a Resume and check "I would like to cut and paste my resume into your site", click Submit. On the next screen, complete "Personal Information" then paste your resume (without your name and contact information since it is already recorded) into the space provided.

  23. How can I ensure that if I posted my resume in a confidential format, that my personal information is secure?
  24. LogJobs.com is hosted behind a secure firewall, which protects it from security breeches.

  25. Why was my resume removed?
  26. If your email address is incorrect, your resume may be removed. A prospective employer cannot contact you nor can we communicate with you online without this.

  27. My resume is posted with my name, address and phone number displayed and I would like to make it confidential. Can this be done?
  28. Yes. You can edit your resume anytime to do this. Login, click the edit option, then in the resume builder activate "Please check if you wish to keep your personal information confidential". Selecting this option will result in your resume being displayed without your name, address or phone number. Employers will contact you by email.
