| Thomas A. McKenna is the owner of Navesink Logistics, Inc. that he founded in 1994, and Logjobs, a career board exclusively for the logistics and supply chain industry that he launched in 1998. He has an extensive executive management and consulting background of more than thirty years in the logistics and supply chain industry spanning technology, project management, finance, business development, operations and recruiting. |
Since 1994, Thomas has worked for scores of clients executing logistics cost reduction campaigns and supply chain transformation engagements. He has provided counsel for Internet resource management solutions providers, expert witness services and due diligence expertise for investors, lawyers, banks and financial institutions. |
Prior to 1994, he worked as an executive for a major transportation company where he was responsible for the profitability of $125 million. He has published numerous articles in publications such as Global Logistics & Supply Chain Strategies, Inbound Logistics, Traffic World, Private Carrier and others, given interviews in trade magazines and is a frequent guest speaker at professional organizations including the Food Distribution Industry Group, American Trucking Association, National Private Truck Council and National Association of Purchasing Managers. |
Honorably discharged from the United States Army after serving three years in the European Theater, he is a graduate of Kean University with BS degrees in Management Science and Economics. |

Tommy McKenna

| After graduating college in 1998, Tommy went right into the media (TV ad buying) business in New York City. It didn’t take long for Tommy to realize that what he thought he’d be doing while attending The Perley Isaac Reed School of Journalism at West Virginia University (writing copy and designing ads) was much different than what he was actually doing (learning how to buy TV advertising time with a lot of math). Despite the discrepancy, Tommy motored on for another 5+ years at various ad agencies throughout the city working on accounts such as Quaker Oats Co., AOL, Applebee’s, Paramount and last but not least, Procter & Gamble. This time also included a stint at CBS Television in the Sports Sales department. About half way through 2007 Tommy had enough and decided to attempt to take the media skills he had acquired and apply them to the online advertising world, how different could it be he thought? So after trying to start a fantasy baseball site (couldn’t keep up with putting out the content and managing the context of the site), he decided to join his father in late 2007 and give him a hand in expanding Logjobs. Back in the college days, Tommy used to fiddle around with the site by orally reading in resumes (Dragon Speech Recognition), so it wasn’t a totally foreign idea to him. Before long Tommy was cleaning up Logjobs, applying his vision to the site and bringing it into the 21st century, spending time on such items as: re-launching the job builder and resume builder, improving job search results, adding social media, implementing a proprietary candidate tracking system, expanding partnerships, site redesign, establish new pricing, re-building the shopping cart and checkout system, implementing a fraud prevention system, and ultimately bringing results to job seekers and employers alike. |
